This was my experience attempting to read The Name of the Rose:
Page 1–”Adso seems very intent on telling us something vitally important…I wonder what it is?”

I read a review once that said this book automatically brings your IQ up when you read it. I was very leery of this book when I purchased it. Judging from the synopsis it just didn’t strike me as a book that was or would be interesting to me. Don’t get me wrong I love a good mystery & thought this one was an interesting mystery, I found it lacking [...]
